The Children's Fund & Fig Tree Jewelry

My husband and I were honored to be apart of an amazing organization this year, The Children's Fund of Houston. Fig Tree Jewelry was honored to contribute many auction items  for the annual gala (hosted on April 11, 2014) to benefit this great cause. Here is a little bit about The Children's Fund ..... "For forty one years, The Children’s Fund has given wings to early stage, non-profit organizations that support Houston’s most disadvantaged children. Each year the organization selects approximately fifteen charities from over 100 worthwhile organizations to be recipients of the generosity of The Children’s Fund. Over the past two years we have given well over one million dollars to our carefully selected charities. The Children’s Fund is hope for families, their children and our community. It is the only chance for some of these visionary charities that need someone to believe in them and their role in bettering the lives of needy children. Our organization gives 100% of what it raises to the charities—there is no overhead, no staff, just committed volunteers."
